Second-reserve driver Sofia Kerfuffle never expected to actually drive in Formula One that weekend but due to an unexpected chain of events, she is shocked but happy to be asked to drive the McWilliams car at the Australian Grand Prix.
No one thinks a ten year old should be driving in Formula One… people say it is irresponsible, it is dangerous and making a mockery of the sport. However, with the support of her loving grandfather, Stirling Kerfuffle, Sofia wants to show everyone wrong.
This book is aimed at children aged approximately 8-12 who enjoying reading and are interested in sports and/or stories where a 10-year-old is the protagonist. The story is just under 14,000 words with an additional easy to understand guide at the end about Formula One and motor-racing terminology.
